Silvers averaging 16 inches. Using a glo-hook with 1/3 of medium night crawler threaded on the hook. Fished in 30 feet of water. Fish were hitting between 30 and 27 feet on different days. Limits were had within a couple of hours or less. Had two others in the boat. Secret of the lake is to anchor in 30-33 foot deep water. Best spots are off the Boy Scout ranch and in front of the Forest Service Host camp site. Going back July 6-17 and if you see me anchored in my 16' blue Lund boat flying the American Flag by all means tie up next to me as activity breeds activity. I am always happy to show angles the secret of Bonaparte Lake. I spent from June 6 to the 16 fishing, the reports won't allow collective dates.
