Woke up to my alarm at 520 am got ready, then headed to the park at so I could be the first at the boat launch. Well I was not the first in line because there are a couple of fisherman who wake up a little earlier than I do. They maybe older in age but they move faster than I do even if I am younger in age. You know they are some of the same wise men that I also try to gain a few tricks for my fishing arsenal. Well I launched my wooldrige and off I went to put my new tricks and gear to work. I started catching some small ones. The wind started to pick up so I had to move to a spot that was protected from the wind. I started to troll in about 12ft of water up to 8ft. I found that the fish were concentrated in 9ft of water. I continued to work the area with about 4 other boats and then the wind started to die down by that time I had to go pick up my wife and son so they could join me. Right off the bat my son started to catch fish. As fast as I could put a worm on his hook and put it in the water he would have another. On Monday we fished potholes, we caught a couple of catfish pulling Mack lures in 14ft of water. We fished for a little while until it got to hot, then went to Moses lake so he could play at the park before we had to make our drive home.
