Jeff has been getting some nice quality fish in the Lower Basin. He has been fishing from 120 to 180 feet deep pulling T4 Purple glow Flatfish and Needlefish squiddy's baited with Pikeminnow. The great thing about the last few days has been the nice sprinkling of double digit fish. Fish at 1.1 mph and as always, stay tight to the bottom. The 28th trip was Marv Ayres of Everett with Russ Groth of Stanwood with the 12 pound fish. Colin Attaway (8) with a 16.6# fish was with grandfather, Bob Jankelson of Tsillan Cellars fame the evening of the 24th, Stephanie Derovin and Cathy Glenn of Tacoma with a nice bunch including a 10.5# from the morning of the 24th, Pepe with his daughter and grandkids from the evening of the 26th. It has been great out there, fishing around the hottest times of the day.
