Well the best or worst fishing trip possible maybe, made it to the lake about the time of the mini storm passing through the area 9:30 10:00 am had the new kayak along so the wife had something to do besides watch me fish ,
as I am motoring across the middle of the lake , towing the kayak behind the boat ,looking to see how she was doing
smell gas only to look down to see the fuel line laying in the bottom of the boat pouring gas out of it , I scream at the wife turn around as I'm passing her in quick 180 hopping enough fuel is still left in the motor . Well as I'm putting the fishing pole away holding a broken fuel line in the other hand and counting the seconds as the motor dies . Had to row in to the launch thinking to my self damn next time check everything don't think it's all gonna be good. So no fish didn't even get the line wet sure saw a lot of action on the screen but couldn't fish, funny the best part of it all was watching the wife have good time in the kayak I'll be back to fish another time Dj I see your having fun locally We gotta get on the same wave length trying to guess which pond Your gonna fish on for the day is hard to do when I think it's one it's always the other I also see that the comments section keeps growing on your reports I'm telling Ya one day the cameras will be rolling with all eyes on You. one day soon we will hook up.

Yikes, sorry to hear that brotha. Lessons are always learned on the water. That's how we become better fisherman. I hope everything gets fixed up. Just shoot me a message and we can coordinate a trip!

Yes D j always a lesson to be learned as we go to play so to speak ,It's when we don't learn from our mistakes that makes us wonder ,ya a dumb little thing like never remembering to fix the cheap plastic connector at the end of the fuel line when I changed the other end of the hose, no big deal as I had 3 or so of them at home in a bag a 2 min repair and all was good. I did here from a couple of people fishing everybody got limits in a short time good news it was good just to get out on the ole pond anyway even if it was only watching the sweetheart paddle her butt off She sure likes that little kayak I've only been able to get into it for a quick paddle from the WDF launch over to the park launch and back , but then isn't it worth seeing a person enjoying something that you've brought forth making them happy ? Ya man one day we will catch all the bigens in that pond, the best fishing at that lake is yet to come so be ready brotha.
