Spent the morning fishing Lake McMurray, only fished this place once or twice before, its been good for bass and perch. It has a big parking lot near the launch and a toilet. Fished with five inch black and green plastic worms. Also used purple with red sparkle, all equally as good or bad depending on how you look at it. Caught a few bass but they were all in the throw back range of 12-17 inches. Fun lake to fish, but it was a little windy and the water is very very clear there right now. Did not catch any perch but they can usually be had by the lily pads with a small chartreuse or clear glitter jig, sometimes a small piece of earthworm on the hook helps. Caught and released a few bass and then headed to our reliable Armstrong lake where we caught our limit of ten bass. We have caught very large bass here in the past but not today.
