Decent day of fishing at Flowing Lake, got there in the morning to a little bit of cloud cover and we were the only truck in the lot. There used to be a dock here but its been taken down, not sure why, they have a decent boat launch but be careful of the erosion between the cement blocks, easy way to twist an ankle. There is a toilet here also. fished along the docks on the near side of the lake and had good luck with some bass as well as a few perch, used my typical black plastic worms about five inches long rigged weedless and also tried a few small lead head jigs with green chartreuse and clear glitter bodies with a little success. Good thing about this lake is if the fishing is bad you can go across the street and try your luck at Storm lake and Panther lake is just down the street as well. Water was dark here with a small amount of algae bloom still in the water. I prefer this lake to Storm lake across the street since Storm lake has some very very clear water which bass tend to shy away from, very easy for them to spot you.
