Fished Panther lake this morning with my dad, went out despite the strong wind. It was cloudy and we had good luck with perch and bass, once the sun came our about 1100 though the fish slowed down a lot. Caught a very large bass about 18 inches long but returned him to the lake to catch another day. Caught about ten perch and ten small bass as well. Good day of fishing despite the wind. Used black plastic worm and jigs with a small blade spinner, the jig head we used a small piece of plastic worm about and inch and a half that was purple with glitter and they seemed to really like that set up. fished near the lily pads just to the right of the boat launch and had good luck there and that was about the only good spot on the lake today. Air temp was in the low seventies and the water was quite warm probably warming up from this past weekend we had which was in the 90s.
