I took my small livingston out to try my hand at bass again. Launched my boat about 6:30 AM and started off fishing a spinnerbait under the docks. I fished a spinnerbait all the way up the lake to the top. At the top I switched off to a 4'' Yamamoto Grub. A few docks down from the top of the lake I caught a small bass, about 15''-16''. I fished down the lake with the grub until I got down to the public docks, and switched to a watermelon senko. I fished most of the docks on the right side of the lake. When I made it back to my dock I took a short break to eat breakfast, and continued fishing up the lake. I switched back to my grub and fished a large submersed tree. Still no fish, so i continued fishing the docks. I cast under a dock and got a bass, somewhere over a pound and a half. After that I fished to the top of the lake again and went back. Overall it was a pretty good day, I actually got 2 decent fish, and have found some of the better spots for bass. Hopefully the bite will be a little bit better after this rain. Tight Lines!
