This lake gets deeper than many of the seep lakes its size. Didn't have any luck for the first hour, though we caught plenty of bluegill and largemouths in the 5-7 inch range. Eventually found an island that was submerged about three feet under water before it dropped off to at least 10 or 15 feet. Threw some wedding rings tipped with worms there and instantly hit two 12" largemouths back-to-back. Good thing they weren't any larger or we couldn't have kept them.
The lake itself was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and quite. A great paddle even if we hadn't had the lines out.
