Melanie and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary Friday night and Saturday at Lake Quinault. After hearing massive rain in the middle of the night we awoke to clearing skies. Fishing was good although catching was tougher, 7 hookups and 3 fish caught, although they are great fish including this cutthroat that is the largest we've seen, fresh sea lice still wiggling. I called this an average day due to large percentage of fish lost. We only fished a few hours due to party at our campground with a dozen friends. Only one other boat fishing on whole lake, and this on a Saturday morning! Not complaining, mind you.
