I haven't posted in a while. We have come through the worst of the fires so far without a hitch. Many of neighbors and friends have not been so lucky. Throughout this, our loyal customers have kept coming and kept us operating. Thanks to all of you, for braving the smoke and dire reports to keep us working. Jeff and I are humbled by your loyalty and kindness. We had both boats working yesterday and did a short transport, so one of the pictures shows some houses burned just uplake of Watson's Resort (the First Creek fire).

Ok... The early morning bite on the Bar has been great for big fish. Later in the morning and in the afternoon, Manson Bay has been very productive for numbers of fish. Purple glow flatfish on the outrigger rods have gotten the majority of the big fish. The majority of the fish have come off the downriggers on green glow Needlefish Squiddy's baited with Pikeminnow. Speeds of 1 to 1.5 mph within 5 feet of the bottom, as always, is the ticket to consistent success.
