Thanks to the admin for adding this lake. A very short hike from the chinook pass overlook to this little lake in a pretty good size valley. Had no luck with rooster tails or other types of spinners. Tied a dry fly under a bobber (no idea what type of fly it was other than dry) and caught 2 of the little guys. There were quite a few people so if you are looking for solitude, this is not the place. It wasnt crowded, just noisy. You can continue up the trail to what they call sourdough gap, supposed to be a pretty nice view. The only people catching anything were using flys in one form or another. All the fish caught were small, less than 5 inches. I would recomend this for anyone that wants an easy hike to do a little mountain lake fishing or as a starter to hilking. Lots of places to explore if you have little ones as well.Even my big kids liked it.
