First time fishing in a few months due to the high heat and an injury. I got to the lake about 11:00 due to a late start. Water temp is coming down (66 on the surface). First 2 1/2 hours just two nibbles. I took one more lap due to the launch being a little crowded and on the far side I hooked my only trout of the day. It was about 15" (rather large for Wildcat) and put up a decent fight. I was mainly trolling Mack's flies with smiley blades, green got the most attention this day.
