A great two days on the lake (Sat & Sun). Started early morning once I was able to access the launch at Ike Kinswa. Gate was still locked at 7:00 even though it says 6:30 opening. Headed out from the launch and fished my way around the point and headed up river. Stayed at Harmony resort so by the time I got there for breakfast with wifey, I had caught and released 6 babies (5-8") and retained two. Had a nice breakfast of bacon quiche and then took the wife out on the water. We landed 8 more fish in another 4 hrs on the water and had a great drive in the boat all the way up close to the Mossyrock Dam at Riffe.

The water was fairly calm and winds were light. I ran Frod fender with a green wedding ring tipped with small pc of night crawler and a single green egg. Once wifey got in..she wanted to use what was hot so I gave her that setup and I went with a "clown dodger" and orange wedding ring tipped the same. My pole scored 2-1 over hers for the weekend but she probably had the larger fish. Most fish were in the 12-14" range. Kept one at 10 just because it was a bleeder and would have died anyhow.

Two day total of 18 (we left at noon on Sunday so traffic would be watching the 'Hawks lose--GO STEELERS). All and all a great weekend on the water. Great place to stay at a good rate with moorage for the evening (Harmony Resort). I've fished Riffe a ton and caught alot of fish but Mayfield on this day was a hit.

Thanks for reading and enjoy the photos (if I can get them to load)
