Decided it was time to hit the water at American lake. I have not been there in a long time and well have not been on the water in over a month it was time. I arrived around 10 am launched and just drove around the lake and enjoyed the views. Started trolling just across from the wdfw launch heading north. Marked a few fish but no takers, heading around silcox island started to mark more fish but still no takers. Changed up the gear a few times on the top pole only with no joy. Started to head south back towards silcox and wham the rod is dancing grab the rod and fish was gone.... Reset the gear and starting making a trip north and back south again and during the turn going around 3 mph the pole starts dancing fish on, nice koke to the boat. Reset the gear and repeat within a few minutes another fish on and he joins the club...lol. Made two more passes and had a few drive by's and hooked the last fish of the day for me.
All in all a good quick trip was off the lake by 2pm. Made quick work of finding the fish and getting them to bite, they wanted a fast moving target today all three fish came on the turns and the wind was blowing my bow so I had to speed into the turn to keep the bow into the wind. Fun trip nice fish about the 13" largest fish nice brite firm pink meat. Working two poles on the wire at 36 and 17 feet all fish came on the bottom pole and drive by's as well the top pole had some bad stink on it LOL.
