Super fun day at Potholes with the wife and some great friends. We got on the water about 1030am and fished until 3pm. Had consistent Smallmouth action in the rocky banks in 14-20ft of water. Caught most
of them on grubs and tubes but did catch a nice one on a drop shot.

Wanted to try some Largemouth action so went over to the flats by the sand dunes and I tie on my favorite crank bait and hand it off to my Wife. You're gonna have fun with this one. About the 5th cast she says I got one!! Thing stayed deep for about 2-3 min and it was pulling line the whole time. Had to follow the fish so as not to break the line (8lb Fluoro). She ended up landing it and it weighed 5lbs 1oz. Her personal best!!

I got my best Largemouth on a tube and she weighed in at 3lbs 6oz and was a heck of a fight as well. Ended up with about 15-20 fish today and our best 5 would have been just over 15lbs.
