Put in at 10:30 and left at 2:30. We used a yellow, purple and purple and pink wedding rings. Trolled around 1.5 - 1.8 mph. We caught fish consistantly for about two hours every time we trolled over a particular area that went from 10-20' deep. We caught 9 walleye, 3 catfish, 2 perch and 1 8lb carp! What a fun day with my son and his best friend. Saw a lot of boats out there but everyone was well spread out. The fishing season is still great!

Thanks Andy! We also got a couple of big walleye that were tournament size that we just could not get in the boat. By the time we got the net and got a look at their size...they just smiled at us and broke loose! Will be back at that hole. I marked a way point there. If you want the spot to put in your lowrance ....just give me a call.

Thanks for the report. I am new to Walleye fishing and have been taking my kids to Banks the past 2 weekends. Going to try Potholes. I appreciate that you showed a HotSpot for us newbies.

Nice report! I'm looking to head out there in a weekend or two, how are the launches with the low water? We usually use the WDFW launches near Lind Coulee/the Dam or Mardon launches.

I did not make it to those boat launches that you mentioned. I went to the State boat launch first and it was too low for my boat so we went to the State Park instead. It cost $7.00 to launch but it was a good launch and most of the boats seemed to be parked there. We did not get there till late morning but still had plenty of parking to choose from. The depth was 5-6 feet off the dock. I'm hoping to go back there next week as well....maybe that spot will still be hot?
Hope that helped.....

Thanks for the hotspot. I was right about there 2 weeks ago with my son, we caught 6 nice walleye trolling wedding rings right around there and saw one boat trolling back and forth towards shore hooking up regularly. We got a 6# walleye trolling a red plug too, my biggest ever. Amazing what fish this place puts out!
