The lake is really low but we were able to drop the drift boat into the narrow slot at the end of the boat ramp.
(there is about an 8" drop to the sand off the end of the cement ramp). The wind was really blowing making it hard to row. About 2000 trout have been planted about a week prior to this visit. We rowed to the west side of the lake and hooked and landed about 30 nice trout. Mostly cut throat and rainbow in the 12-14 inch range. There were a few Eastern Brook trout some small (6") and some very brightly colored (spawning colors I guess) in the 10 inch zone.

I fly fished and did the best with a #10 black volley bugger and a #10 sparrow on a slow sink fly line. There was no surface activity but the wind was really blowing.
My fishing partner was throwing spinners and did the best with a black/silver rooster tail, small.

Water temp was 54 degrees. Being such low water the weeds were often a problem.
