Thought I would take a break from fishing the sound and fish Meridian today with a friend of mine from work. We got on the water at about 7:30 in the morning and started trolling. Only 2 other boats on the water today. In the first 10 minutes of fishing we had 3 fish on and one in the box. Then we had another in the box about 20 minutes later. The action was pretty steady, and of course we had plenty of long distance releases. We ended up with 8 fish in the box but should have had our limits with as many as we hooked up. Decided to call it a day around noon. We had 3 top line fish, and the rest came between 20 -27 feet. We used rocky mountain dodgers. One silver prism with a pink hoochie, and the other was blue prism with homemade pink kokanee bug. Our top line had a chart/flo orange spoon.
