Went to Medical at first light today with my wife. The wind was crazy and it was cold, but we toughed it out for just over 3 hours until my wife landed this beautiful brown trout just as we were thinking about packing it in and heading home to watch the Seahawks epic collapse. I was so excited for her, I just got her a new rod/reel for our anniversary and she had a really nice smallmouth bass break off at the shore our first time out with it. She was getting discouraged (and so was I) after being out all morning with barely a nibble. This was caught on a #12 fly fishing the fly and bobber combo. I was up on the cliff above her and saw the fish come and snatch the fly, couldn't have been more than 5ft from shore. So even though we only caught one fish I give it a 3 for the experience. Fish was released to fight another day.
