Hit the water at 3 pm to fish this lake that I had never done before. Found my way to the flats and dropped the rods. Since I was solo I was a bit nervous, but I trusted my electronics. Wind was just about eight and I was marking fish. Within ten minutes it was fish on! Boated 13" and dropped down again a few more minutes I had another 13" and then before I could flip it in the boat the other rod was going off! 17"....turning out to be a good afternoon. Boated another 15" and then the finally while I was getting ready to beat the sun going down, an 18" walleye. Didn't get the last one in the pic as I was too paranoid about being caught out there in the dark. All fish hooked on a slow death. The most productive was one with a Macs smile blade. I love doing my homework on here and it producing fish. Thanks to all of you!
