Missed a 5 star by not producing a fish over 2lbs...however, I caught and released 60+ largemouth today! I didn't even make a full lap around the lake and pulled 14 off of one dock at one point! The whole time this is going on large trout are jumping all over the lake, sometimes within 5 feet of the boat! It was a bit of a dinkfest but at least 20 of them were pounders+

Water temps stayed a constant 58 and the drizzle came and went. It stayed cloudy the entire trip. Bummer this lake also closes for no reason this weekend, I would love to fish this place mid-November just once!

Jigs produced zero results, topwater got one boil, wacky Senko was on fire! I kept the boat in 20 feet of water and fished transition banks with wood and where shallow water breaks off into deeper water. Fish were suspended on the breaks and anything on the bottom was under the fish.

Trying to decide what seasonal lake to hit tomorrow?? Why again do so many lakes in this State close in October? No salmon in most of them and no waterfowl hunting on most of them? Perplexing.... note to self, never buy a house on a seasonal lake...unless your into torturing yourself for half the year. Dumb.

Thanks for the report. Is it typical for the Bass to be hungry this time of the year? How large would you say the trout were?

Absolutely! It should remain active until water temps dip below 50*! The trout were easily 12"+ and a few were attention getters!

Tried to pm or email you some lakes I had bass question for. But that feature has been disabled?

Don't know? I didn't know it was disabled. What lakes? I would use this resource and read all about them, if you still have questions I guess post an email address...
