Well, me and pops decided to take my nephew out fishing for the first time today and what a blast we had. Between my nephew almost falling in to the water, him stepping on my dad's fishing pole, or throwing rocks and sticks and chasing geese I had a great time. Fishing started out slow so we just sat there and chatted it up with a fellow NWFR angler. A couple small minnows were caught, then I landed the 2lb'er, gave the pole to my nephew and said "here you go", "reel it in"......after about 30 seconds my nephew whispers ever so faintly "help uncle jr!".....ROFL, I grabbed the pole and pulled it in for him. Around 1330 the bite really started to pick up and we landed our final 7 for a total of 9 for the day.......tight lines!
