I read on wdfw that they were supposed to stock the lake last week but it never showed up that they did. I have never fished this lake so I talked with a co- worker who has and he said worms and bobber are the only way to go. I got to the lake around 4pm and threw just about every spoon, roster tail, power bait, egg and anything else I could think of an nothing. started to see a lot of little trout rise just as the sun fell behind the hills but I didn't bring my fly rod this day. just as I am thinking about how fast its getting dark a guy shows up with his kid. in less than two minutes he has 3 fish. I asked what they were biting on... of course worms on a bobber. i have a jar of powerbait power honey worms in my tackle box so i rigged up a section of 3 heave it out and in 30 seconds the bobber is gone. reeled in a nice little 12" rainbow. by the time i got it gutted the guy and his kid(and another friend now) must had landed at least 6 more. i got my one fish and was out of there to go cook my dinner. they must have stocked the lake and not posted about it online with the activity of these 10-13inch bows, i will be taking my brothers kids out soon i hope
