Heard good things about long recently, So I decided to give it a shot. Got to the ramp around 10, all the compartments were froze shut. Being 27 degrees everything was froze. Got to potleaf rock around 1020 ish, marked fish but nothing was biting at the time. Made my way to the rock walls with a dropshot amd hooked into 3 of them. Just an awesome feeling when you hop it up and your rod just double over. Make my way down the lake to a big flat. Hooked into 3 squaws, 1 rainbow and 1 smallie. Moved back up the lake and hooked into one more smallie.. started making my way back to the ramp at 340pm. Got in front of the Mexican house. I go from 55 to 5, and hear this buzzing sound.. guess she's out of oil.. still have 5.95 miles to go.. 6.02 mph all the way back to the launch. 45 minutes amd in finally get ot the dock up the river.. good day overall.
