Pepe and granddaughter Yarisbel came out to fish for Kokanee with Jeff. They worked those suspended schools above the Narrows. Skill does matter as it only took 32 bites to put 20 in the box with these experienced Kokanee anglers. It is easy to pull them off.

Depths of 50 to 150 at 1mph is what worked. Mack's 0000 dodger backed by their mini cha cha squidder baited with Pautzke's Fire Corn was the combo that got the fish.

This is a great time to shake off cabin fever and come to Chelan for this late winter bonanza!

Looks like great fishing
Seems odd though that you guys never post anything but a 5
I've been fishing a long time and one thing i know for sure is that every trip is not a 5
I know you guys have lots of 5 days but it would appear more legitimate and sincere if you shared your 2's, 3's and 4's with us as well

to #1 redroostertail: I'm sorry that the reports don't appear legitimate to you. The simple truth is that I'm blessed to be able to operate a guide service on a body of water that pretty well rewards hard work, precise presentations and persistence. Having a fish population that (while there has been some variation in numbers and size over the last 3 decades) has maintained and has resisted the States intention "to reduce their abundance" has been a real bonus. Unless we get caught behind the curve on a pattern change, most days are 5's for us on Chelan.

After operating a business on this wonderful Lake for over 16 years with a high rate of return customers, I can assure you that we are legitimate and sincere.

I and many others who have fished with Anton and Jeff can vouch, most of his days are a "5". The fishing is that good. If you go back over Anton's posts in the past you'll find some 4 and a rare 3. Anton knows the fishery and has it that well dialed in,
reroostertail, I check your posted reports and found no reports. Sorry you aren't having similar success. Your comment would hold more weight if you posted reports. Hope to read about your adventures soon.
