I went out to Fourth of July and saw that the lake was still covered with some ice. The ice was not fully off the lake yet, but I think it will all be gone by Saturday. Saw only two people there that fished next to me. We only had two spots to choice from, of what I saw at the boat launch. But even though I did not catch anything I still had fun enjoying the sunset and the moon come out. The spots we fished from were only about 25 feet of water and not very deep. But if this weather keeps up I will be going out again sometime next week.
