With this lake reopening on the first I just couldn't stay away. Water level was up but not quite as much as I would have hoped. Water temps were 42* with an ambient temp of *45 (by the time I left) but it felt every bit of 35 with the wind.

Not much happened so I'll keep it short, worked my three favorite early season areas and didn't touch or see anything. Still early but with next weeks temps and what looks like an early spring this year, I will be back.

When I left there was one other bass boat that had launched...at least I wasn't the only crazy one that day! I'm hoping to get out at least two days next week....decisions decisions...
