Launched my toon at the rec center about 6 am. The weather was cloudy but no wind. I trolled out to duck island and stayed there all morning . I practiced catch and release today again. I caught , they released. But I did figure out why I was losing them at the boat, I put a new seat on my boat and now my net handle is about 1 foot to short, whiched II fixed as soon as I got home . I did manage to land 3 average size steelys all about 14 inches .I lost 4 while trying to net and one was what looked about 22 inches and bright chrome. Bait of choice today was red and chrome wedding ring with a flouresance red metal blade for some reason the smily blades don t seem to work here . I also was using a large night crawler as they don t seem to like little pieces . Was a great day fishing and had a great time , was off the lake by 11 am

isnt it strange that the 1/8th of an inch of work will make the difference on some days. Fish are funny folks
