Well looked like a nice day to get some fishing in so we headed to Alder to give it a try. Arrived around 11 am to find the lot half full of trucks with boat trailers.....Turns out the Sheriffs were out for the monthly practice on the water. We launched and got set up and started fishing towards the dam as they were in the pool to the left heading out of the launch my normal spot.
Fished everything under the sun and ran from 15 to 80 ft deep chasing mark's on the FF. We were running four rods stacked on the DR's tipped with corn. We ran all over the lower end of the lake with no one take down. Lots of fish around all over in all depths. They just did not want to play today. It was very fun for us and got cold at one point so we called it a day.
The water is high and running at 44 to 45 degrees and we were 1.0 - 1.8 mph gps. All in all a fun day but no fish.
Tight lines.
