I decided to brave the weather this morning and headed out to Amber Lake for its opener. The weather was nasty, but the fish were biting. I fished a blood worm(fly) 6' under my indicator and managed to hook up a dozen fish in just a couple of hours. Bites were super subtle. Fish are in great shape this year and are good sized. Fun morning except for the freezing half to death part.
