Pulled up to the lake at 7:20am only 1 other boat in line. The man with the keys showed up around 7:35 so we were in the water and fishing by 8.Had our first bite just after we got pass the boat launch area . We did catch and release most of morning we caught they released. Weather was cloudy but not bad when we started but by 9:30 or so it got real windy and we could see that a good shower was coming so we left the lake with my son keeping 4 stockers because they swolowed the hook I kept one stocker and a nice steelhead. The bite seemed to be at about 2 to 3 feet deep .I used a red and gold wedding ring with a clown flasher , son was using a dick nite on a trout looking flasher all tipped with night crawler all worked great would have given it a 5 if not for weather , but hey this is seattle in march had a good time as always when fishing with family
