Got out to Greenlake early, hoping to take advantage of a break in the rain. It was pretty blustery out, so I fished the dock by the amphitheater, as the trees and hill there create a nice wind shadow for southerly winds. For the most part it was calm and pleasant, although I did get showered on twice, but the rain didn't last long. Caught one trout on chartreuse Powerbait, and two more on shrimp. One was apparently a recent plant, as it was small with pale meat, but the other two had been in there a while as they were larger and had nice pink flesh. When the third round of rain came in, I decided to call it quits early, and head home. Definitely had more action than in a couple of other recent trips out to Greenlake. Spring is right around the corner.
