This is for Wed to Fri.
Wed
Fished north of the park in 15 to 40 FOW with two slow death, one floating worm rig and one line out with a flasher and squid to see if trout were around. Had one fish on the slow death for just long enough to know it was a fish not a snag.
Fished from around 2 PM to about 5 when the rain just got to be too much.
Thur
Good new was the wind blew the rain away, bad news was the wind. Tried for a few hours in the morning in the same areas all with no luck. Went up into Frenchman's to try and get out of the wind but gave up around 11. Tried to go out in the after noon but the wind was even stronger. Talked to a guy coming in at Road M launch in Linn Coulee, he said they got two the night before some where on the other side of the bridge over Road M. But nothing on Thur.
Friday
Fished the morning in Linn Coulee from around the island to the bridge from 7 to 1030 got two with floating worm rigs and one hit on a slow death. We need to check out at Mardon then when back out till around 3 with no other fish in the same areas. I gave a little thought to making it a 5 star for the first fish in the new boat.
