Arrived at Fish Lake (Okanogan) at 5 AM on the 15th of May after driving all
night from the Kitsap peninsula. After a short nap, we set up the camper
(hard to level up on the northeast side of lake) and started fishing. Slow
fishing, but everything we caught was good sized, must be holdovers. Second
day, caught a 21" Rainbow (wow), I was so excited, couldn't bait up for at
least an hour. We trolled and only picked a few, others were having better
luck. We were able to catch some nice small mouth along the south shore
using top water lures. We took pictures of all the fish caught and then
released them, so they are still there for the rest of you to catch. We
stayed until the morning of the 25th and packed it in (nice vacation). Water
was down about 4' but rained several times while there, so it should come
