So my girlfriend and I went to Angle lake after not getting anything at meridian last week. Angle lame is my closer to me as well. Anyways we started fishing at about 9am. Started a bit late. We had not bites for the first hour. Then switched couple wedding rings and finally started biting. My girlfriend caught the first fish on the downrigger. About 30yd back and 10ft deep. She had macks double d dodger with silver And pink wedding ring with piece of worm and rainbow color powerbait.

Then I lost 2 fish next to the boat until I finally caught my first about 40 min after my girlfriend.then nothing for another hour and got another bite on the downrigger at about 9ft. But lost it when it jumped out and went over my line that I was long linking with. Then called it a day. I came in at about 12 30.

I had 2 rods my girlfriend had 1. I got bites on both. One I was just putting it back about 50yd with green macks double d dodger And gold and pink wedding ring. The one on my downrigger I had a silver dodger with green and silver wedding ring. Was using rainbow powerbait.

It was a very beautiful day on the water. Gave it a four because we had action. Wish I would of landed the other 3, but that's how that goes.was able to get my girlfriend on her first fish of the year so good day. Tight lines!!
