First time on this lake and arrived at about 10:30 am. We were the only ones there - for about 10 minutes. Then others arrived, but it never got crowded. Out on the lake, the fish were biting. We fished mostly with spoons and spinners. For hard lures, bright colors were most effective, but the fly fishers were also doing well. At least one caught one of the big trout that were stocked recently. We weren't so lucky, but had a lot of fun with the smaller ones. We each kept 4 of the fatter 11 to 12 inch trout and released twice as many. Weather was beautiful - looking forward to more of it in the coming months. Tight lines.
