5/3/2016 5:09:00 PMActually, if you are fishing with bait you must count all fish landed against your limit. You do not necessarily have to keep those fish but when you reach the catch limit you must stop fishing regardless of how many fish you have retained. From page 16 of 2015-2016 WDFW Fish Regs: Where use of bait is prohibited, or where lures or flies are used voluntarily, Game Fish may be caught and released until the daily
limit is retained. If any fish has swallowed the hook or is hooked in the gill, eye, or tongue, it should be kept if legal to do so.
Also from page 17 'Species Rules' for Trout: When fishing with bait, all TROUT (except STEELHEAD) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit whether kept or released.
