you don't need a fishing license here .it is Olympic national park.
the limit is 2 per day 20 inch minimum.
we encourage catch and release. I say we myself and a few friends who fish this lake a lot. these fish get very big. my biggest
was 16 pounds . My buddies was 19.2 pounds.
These are all native fish- they do not stock this lake. There is an excellent campground
at log cabin resort. they have cabins, rv spots with hookups, showers, laundry, dock and
boat ramp, also a very fine restaurant and store. 360-528--3325 is the phone.
There is a gas dock at the west end of the lake
next to Fairholm campground, which is a state campground, no power but tents ok.
According to the park biologist you can see bottom at 60 feet deep at certain times of the year. Ask for Becky at the resort on how to catch these monsters.
