I took my kids on a picnic to Rimrock today and managed to catch a few fish. Rimrock is notoriously hard to fish, usually it's hard to locate and catch anything except Kokanee. I lucked out today and caught a few like this little trout, but we saw more lizards than fish.
I would imagine the Kokanee would be biting now or soon but you generally need a boat for them. The afternoon water temp was 49 air temp was hard to gauge as the wind would pick up frequently but probably upper 60's.
