I arrived at Wilderness at 7am and fished until 9am. When I first arrived, I fished the area near the lodge from the bank. I had been there two days earlier during the derby and it seemed like an okay spot. No such luck this morning. After about 45 minutes of standing in the rain without a bite, I decided to move. I ended up fishing off the shore near the boat launch, off of a peninsula next to picnic area #6.

Using Powerbait pink eggs and a #10 octopus hook with a 3-4ft leader, I caught 2 small trout (about 10") within about 15 minutes, and then nothing the rest of my time there.
