This report is for fishing on the 26th and 27th. This is a great time for fishing Chelan! We have had good success fishing Colyar Ledge early in the mornings and the Barrens for the Bankers bite. Pulling Jeff drifts at about 1mph within 5 feet of the bottom works best, as always. Cutthroat trout are available from a lot of shoreline locations throwing spinners, dunking bait or trolling kokanee gear tight to the shore and shallow. Kokanee are on and off like a light switch but have been caught up by 25 Mile Creek, in the Narrows, along Manson Bay, at the Monument and off of Rocky Pt. Smallmouth are showing up in pre-spawn aggresiveness. Pick you species and enjoy our glorious scenery.
