Started the lake season with an outing to Silver Lake. My usual approach is a green wooley bugger rigged behind a silver flash smile blade. Past seasons this would slay the fish, not today. Red wedding ring tipped with a night crawler was the ticket today. Had the boat back on the trailer by 12:30 with a limit of fish in the cooler.
