Brought the rowboat to Don Lake today....goooood choice.

One boat on the whole lake...mine, and it was terrific fishing. Primarily cast 1/8th oz gold Little Cleos and copper 1/8th oz Cyclones, non stop strikes in almost every part of the lake. Most were right on the surface. About every 5th fish was a native coastal cutthroat. All trout were 13 to 15 inches, fought well.

Fished for three hours, hooked plenty of trout, c & r. Kept two for the pan. Fly rod next trip in a few days. Tossing little spoons just too easy.
