Took my lil cousin out fishing for the first time and decided silver lake wouldn't be too crowded to fish the dock. The bait of choice was a orange/chartreuse power egg combo tipped with a chartreuse trout nibble covered in plain shrimp oil. Between the 3 of us we limited in about 3hrs. Most fish were around 12 to 13 inches with our biggest at 15. Saw a couple of nice fatties pulled up that were 2-3lbs. I seen a couple nice sized cats come in from boat fisherman and didn't see or hear of much crappie action.
