I took my 3 grandkids fishing this morning. They are aged 8, 9, and 10. In preparation I bought snacks: Chipahoy cookies in a container, Goldfish with extra cheddar, Cheetos puffs, and Doritos ranch chips. I had 3 lunch boxes. I told them to pick out what they wanted for snacks and whatever amount they wanted. I put 2 sizes of zip bags for them, snack and sandwich bag size. The night before they made the snack boxes up. They even went to bed early.

They got up and we headed for the lake about 8am. Well everyone was there ‘cause you know I report everything on the internet and everyone reads what I report. ;)
I went and anchored about where I was on Tuesday. The water was 60 degress and we had our suntan lotion on because it was sunny. It was calm. I threw out the chum and in a bit there were fish on the finder. I told them to watch the rod tips but, well, the attention span just wasn’t there. No fish caught, Snacks eaten. Within an hour it was too hot so we came in. BUT the launch was very busy with all those people so we had to wait.

They still want to come out again and agreed to get up earlier! I think it was a hit even if it was a miss!
