Got out of bed early this morning to take advantage of the nice weather. Hit on a pig of a smalli right away under the overhang. Maybe 2 1/2-3 lbs.. next best after that was a decent size big mouth. Another dozen rock bass before it warmed up and the bass stopped biting. Trolled a full circle of the lake with trout gear and c&r about a dozen trout.

Haha, I wondered if that may have been you, Pizzaman. I was the guy in the blue float tube, said "Good morning". I should have checked in more closely.
I had a fair morning, but nothing that great really. A couple 1.5 lber's and a 2.5 lber, also under the bunker.

Quadfather, how's the beer brewing going?
Meant to mention I'm my report that a huge Kio swam under my kayak. Freaked me out a little to see the big orange thing swim by at first.

Haven't brewed..
Yeah, there is a Koi that is mostly white with some orange and black spotting. I put it at 8-10 lbs? That one followed me a lot Sunday.
Then I saw what I would have called a carp, that was easily as big. This one appeared to be that bronze color. I have seen the white one every year for prob 5 years. Of course many lakes around here have carp, but there not as common in Bitter and Haller. That 2nd fish may have been a Koi that was released by some person in the neighborhood.
