Cassandra, Noah and I dropped lines about 7am just off the beach from the State Park. Headed east towards the Monument area. The action was not fast and furious. Picked up 10 Kokanee ranging from 11" to 15", and a nice cutthroat from 8am to 12pm. Most of the fish were caught in the Monument area at depths from 16' to 110'. Downriggers were set to 35/40' back. Speeds were about 1.3 to 2.3 mph. Pink and Orange were the colors of the day. We used wedding rings, hoochies, and Apex lures with White Shoepeg Corn as the bait, with a spray of Anise scent.

Without your hands there, and with him just sitting on the cooler, I would have swore that Cutthroat was 4 pounds. hes is a very grown up looking teenager. WOW. Great times meeting everyone learning how to catch a few fish next time there.
