After getting blown all over the lake with Chris up on Sammish and only catching 6, I still needed my fishing fix for the weekend. Ran up to Campbell to try for some trout
Just using a Green Wooley bugger and a tip of worm. Caught two on the way down from the ramp to the west end of the lake. Trolled back and caught two more before the ramp. And got the last one just a few hundred feet on the other side. The two bigger ones were fresh plants, tails still rubbed down and fought like a bulldog. Straight down. The smaller three were 12-14 inches and put on a totally different type of fight all together. In the air the whole time. One jumped over 6 times. Lost quite a few in those air displays, but sure were fun to watch.
Done in 2 hours and home to make the wife happy. LOL. Earn those brownie points to use later in the year.
