Had the first minor issue with the boat, tachometer stopped working so this morning was the drive to Tacoma where the dealer pulled one from another boat and I was headed home thirty minutes later! Thanks Willie!

Went to Big Lake just because it's close and I needed room to do motor break-in. Started in the south end again without so much as a nibble. Ran the boat around for a while then started fishing more transition banks and caught the first sub 2lber on a swim jig. Caught a couple more on a Senko but all were just shy of 2lbs. Motored around for a bit again and hit the steeper banks on the NE side of the lake. I alternated between Senko and swim jig and the Senko out produced but the big fish of the day, the 3.4lber came on a jig. As I was floating along with the wind I could just make out the shape of a bass sitting by a rock, he slowly followed my swim jig but turned off, not knowing where he went I threw my black and blue 1/4oz jig back in the area and thunk, he picked it up and that was that.

That would be the big bass of the day with a total of about 9 I would say. Not bad considering I was going to bag it and mow my lawn tonight ha ha.
